The Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance presents the ninth annual Run for the Angels this Sunday in Coeur d’Alene’s McEuen Park. The purpose of the event is to come together to raise awareness for infant and child loss, remember children who were unexpectedly lost, and provide a day to enjoy family and friends. The Doobie Brothers at Spokane Arena

The Doobie Brothers with Michael McDonald take the stage at Spokane Arena this Friday for their 50th anniversary tour. For the first time touring together in over 25 years, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees will be on stage to play hits like “Listen to the Music'' and “Long Train Runnin.” The show begins at 8pm with doors opening at 6:30pm. Spokane Walk to End Alzheimer's

The annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s Is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s research, care and support. Sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association, the event draws participants of all ages and walks of life to move forward together in fighting the disease. This Saturday at Riverfront Park, registrations for the event will kick off at 8:30am, followed by opening ceremonies at 9:30 and the 2.4-mile walk at 10am.


Oktoberfest at Post Falls Brewing Company

The first weekend of October means Oktoberfest celebrations are here. Post Falls Brewing Company hosts their Oktoberfest Celebration this Saturday with live music from local favorites Echo Elysium, Rusty Jackson, and Royale. The event promises food, fun and beer. American Sign Language Tours at Art Spirit Gallery

Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s Art Spirit Gallery is taking steps toward keeping art accessible for all, starting with ASL tours beginning this Saturday. In partnership with Timothy Madsen, a Troy University senior set to receive his Bachelor of Science in ASL and English Interpreting, the gallery will offer ASL tours from 2 to 6pm at their opening reception for the Magnificent Mel exhibit.
