This week for a few nights only, the Art Spirit Gallery & Drawn Together Arts will present a staged reading of Steve Martin’s play, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, a comedic production about Einstein and Picasso meeting in a bar in Paris. The event will be held at 415 Sherman Avenue in Coeur d’Alene and will feature professional actors from across the region.
Drawn Together Arts is a local nonprofit with the objective of intersecting the arts in a “curated, interactive and interactive theatrical experience” that both inspires and draws the community together. They work with The Art Spirit Gallery to create a platform where Coeur d’Alene and Spokane communities can thrive. The event is
sponsored in part by the Music Conservatory of Coeur d’Alene and is directed by local theater director and producer Tracey Vaughan.Tickets are $20 for what is sure to be an evening of hilarity, banter and laughter.
