Coeur d’Alene’s Art Spirit Gallery is introducing their first show of 2023, Living Matter, inspired by the thought that “All living things contain a measure of madness that moves them in strange, sometimes inexplicable ways,” as Yann Martel wrote in Life of Pi.
“Our ‘Living Matter’ show exemplifies our artists' approach to living things through materials including ceramic, wood, paper, drift wood and oil stick,” the gallery describes. Featured artists include David Lustig, Kelsey Grafton, Amanda Bielby, Marceil DeLacy and Lonnie Hutson.
The Opening Reception will take place this Saturday, January 7, from 11am to 6pm, with the show continuing through January 29.
