A team of ‘Scout Elves’ will be hidden throughout downtown Coeur d’Alene this weekend, giving kids a chance at a fun, festive scavenger hunt! Presented by STCU, the elves will be hidden in various businesses across the downtown corridor. Prizes will be awarded for those who find the elves, including over 30 gift cards from local businesses.
Those ready to participate in the scavenger hunt can print out a passport online, or pick up a passport from one of Santa’s Workshop locations (All Things Irish, Migliore Olive Oil, or Woops! Bakeshop), then head out to find the elves from Friday through Sunday. Every elf found earns the participant a stamp on their passport and a better chance of winning a prize. Those who find more than 10 are eligible to enter the grand prize drawings for a Traeger Grill or private shopping experience at Figpickels Toy Emporium, along with a $300 gift card. This weekend, characters from Disney’s Frozen (Anna, Elsa and Olaf) will be available for a meet and greet with scavenger hunters, within the Plaza Shops on Sherman Avenue on Saturday from noon to 3pm. Head to downtown Coeur d’Alene for a festive photo opportunity and the chance to win big with Elf on a Shelf!
