This weekend marks the 54th year of Coeur d’Alene’s festival in support of artists, art education and community projects: Art on the Green! Held on the grounds at North Idaho College, the free, volunteer-led event celebrates art of all kinds: visual, musical, performance arts, and more. The event will host entertainment on two stages, an outdoor art show, a beer garden, food court and food trucks, children’s art garden, and community classes.
Art on the Green is truly a community event, with over 400 volunteers coming together annually to help more than 40,000 guests enjoy the event. The festival also gives back to the community, as its proceeds are donated in the form of grants and needed art supplies for local schools.
